A Good Iron Is Key
A good iron is key to learning how to iron. I have bought into the false economy that cheap irons work just as well as any other iron but it is simply not true. Because of that notion, I usually have to replace mine two or three times per year because I am hard on them. I iron everything I own including curtains and bed linens and the extended use is hard on a cheap iron. So, save yourself the trouble and buy a good one.
